We took these while in Oregon last week for a web design conference. It was a chilly, drizzly day (but I came to understand that this is normal for late May over the course of the week). The garden is totally gorgeous, a highly recommended experience in any weather.

These were taken at Fossil Creek Regional Open Space and Running Deer Natural Area in Fort Collins. All were taken with my new 170-300mm lens (equivalent of 340-600mm on my Olympus E-510).

Took the camera out the other evening and got these great cedar waxwings about 1/2 block from my house. I took 324 shots in about ten minutes and got a few really nice ones – the in-flight shot was of course a very happy accident!

A few new photos from my outing with the Fort Collins Digital Camera Club last week; these are along the Spring Creek Trail north of downtown.
